Staycation at Pullman Hotels (Experience)

Whether we all like it or not, the Pandemic has changed the face of travel. The once fast travel life is now replaced with a slow and responsible one. But even when so many countries are encouraging to travel, the threat of another wave looms. If you ask me, my mind is still at splits on travelling. Luckily, for now I have found the perfect alternative for satisfying my wanderlust – STAYCATION!

If you are wondering what a Staycation is or how to plan a perfect one, then I would recommend checking out this blog first – https://ritudey.com/how-to-plan-the-perfect-staycation/

In this blog I will be sharing my experience of staying at a 5 star hotel for a weekend!

Hallway at Pullman Hotels

The Hotel

For my staycation I chose the Pullman Hotel at Aerocity. A part of the Accor group, this is a luxurious property overlooking the Delhi Airport. Upon arriving, the hotel had a bright and open feel with splash of colors everywhere.

The check in procedure was very smooth and they ensured Covid protocols are followed strictly. The property has 4 restaurants, a large pool area and a garden area.

The Rooms

As you enter the room you will be welcomed by a fluffy white bed. I immediately ran to the window to get an enchanting view of the grounds and the blue sky. The best part of the room and my favorite has to be the bathtub! The bathroom was luxurious in all ways with beautiful lighting.

The room is very spacious equipped with all necessities.

Amenities

Pullman Hotels houses a Spa, Gym and Salon. The spa consists of six single treatment rooms, two couple treatment rooms, all extremely spacious and tastefully done up. The hotel also houses an outdoor swimming pool, which it shares with its sister brand Novotel. With every imaginable treatment—from Swedish to Thai to Ayurvedic — the spa always works for new ways to tease the stress out of its patrons.

Unfortunately, the spa was not operational during my stay but I highly recommend to check it out!

Dining

For me personally food forms a very important part of any vacation. The breakfast at Pullman’s was divine with plenty of options to choose from.

You can enjoy breakfast at Farmer’s Basket, have tea at Café Pluck and have dinner at Honk or either Pling.
