Things to know before you travel to Langkawi

Climate: Langkawi is a tropical destination. The weather can be very unpredictable. It can be hot one time and rainy another time.

 

Clothing:  Langkawi has a tropical climate; pack light, breathable clothing.

Bring sun protection: hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

A lightweight raincoat or umbrella for unexpected showers.

 

Getting around: Grab app is your best friend on this Island. If you have an international driving license you can easily rent cars and scooters to explore the island too!

 

Cash and Cards: Credit cards are widely accepted, but it’s good to have some cash on hand for small purchases.

Langkawi Sky Cable and Sky Bridge

One of the top rated experience in Langkawi is the Sky Cable and Sky Bridge. The thrilling ride on the Sky Cable takes you up Gunung Mat Cincang, one of Langkawi’s highest mountains.
