If you are that person, then you have come to the very right place. While Udaipur has a lot of cafes and street foods options to choose from, in this blog I will be recommending the top 5 places to eat in Udaipur!

Jheels Ginger Coffee Bar and Bakery
My first and foremost recommendation would be Jheel Café. This place serves some of the best Italian in the town. The pastas and pizza’s are to relish for. The shakes are thick enough to fill you up. Apart from the amazing food, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Lake Pichola. I would highly recommend checking this place out for lunch. There are dedicated spots where you can click some beautiful pictures. Outdoor seating is also available here.

Khamma Ghani Restaurant
If you are looking for places to try some authentic Rajasthani cuisine, then this is the place for you. At Khamma Ghani you can enjoy Dal Batti Churma or Laal Maas (Rajasthani specialty). The place has a beautiful ambience. You can choose from the cabanas to sit at or the usual set up, a table and chair. I would recommend sitting at the cabanas. This place usually has a high waiting time.

The Big Pot
One restaurant which will not come up while searching for restaurant recommendations. The Big Pot, serves some delicious North Indian, Chinese, Mediterranean and South Indian cuisine. But the best part about this place is the outstanding aerial view of Udaipur city. From here one can get the view of The Oberoi Udaivilas, Lake Pichola, City Palace and at a distant mountain top the Karni Mata temple. I would highly recommend checking this place out.

If you are looking for a perfect date night set up, then this is the place for you. Upre is popular for its ambience and breath taking view of the Pichola. They serve Continental, Indian and Rajasthani food. The staff is very very courteous and the food super delicious. Unlike other places the prices at this place are slightly steeper.

Ambrai, Amet Haveli
My favorite place in Udaipur to enjoy stunning views and eat some amazing Mewadi Kichddhi (Yes you read that right!) is Ambrai. This place looks magical during the day as well as night. I would highly recommend visiting the place during the evening. With the beautiful white city all lit up and some amazing food, this place is perfect for dinner with friends or that special one. This is one of the most fanciest place to enjoy great meals.

Enjoy some amazing street food at Fatehsagar Chowpatty
Just along the Fatehsagar Lake is the Chowpatty where you can eat some lip smacking chaat. From momos to street burgers you can find all kinds of Indian snacks here. Enjoy some amazing tea and the beautiful view of the Fatehsagar Lake.
